Queensland's weather is getting more extreme

Each year Queensland experiences a range of extreme weather conditions, from floods to fires, cyclones, storms and more. Despite this, many Queenslanders are still not prepared for the worst when it comes knocking.

Make a claim

Is your home or property damaged?

• In an emergency call 000 for Police, Ambulance or Fire Brigade.
• To report a powerline down call 000 immediately, Energex (south east Queensland) on 13 19 62 or Ergon Energy (regional Queensland) on 13 16 70. For support during a flood or storm call the SES on 132 500.

Know your policy

With RACQ Home and Contents and RACQ Comprehensive Car Insurance, know you’re covered for storm, flood, fire, hail and cyclones. It's important to always read your Product Disclosure Statement (PDS), any applicable Supplementary PDS, and Certificate of Insurance. These documents will tell you what events and damage you are covered for, your insured amounts, any limits, conditions and excesses that apply.
