If there’s an emergency threatening to damage your home, please call the SES on 13 2500.

Read through your policy documents to understand what you’re covered for:

• Certificate of Insurance for your policy (you can find this in My RACQ)
• Your Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and any Supplementary PDS

To help us process your claim as quickly as we can, it will help if you have the following on hand:

• Information about the incident, which may include the date, where the loss or damage occurred, etc.
• Any other relevant details such as police reports, witnesses and others involved
• Additional information such as reports obtained and any invoices paid

In-Store

Our staff can submit the claim on your behalf when you visit a RACQ store. 

Here is what to expect next:  

• If an onsite assessment is required, we’ll contact you to arrange for an assessor to visit your home
• If you already have a quote, please provide details when you make your claim
• If your claim is accepted we may authorise repairs/replacement of your items through our preferred suppliers
