What does my RACQ Roadside Assistance cover?

When your eligible vehicle won't start, or stops due to a mechanical or electrical fault, we'll be there.

If you have a flat battery, we can provide you with a jump start.
Where you lock your keys in your vehicle, RACQ will attempt to unlock your vehicle.
If you run out of fuel, RACQ can deliver enough fuel to get you to a fuel station within your service limits.
In the event of a flat or a faulty tyre or wheel, we'll help you fit your car's roadworthy spare.

Towing
If we can't get your eligible vehicle moving, we'll provide complimentary towing up to your service limits. Size and weight limitations apply.
Travel entitlements
Plus Care, Ultra Care and RACQ Ultimate offer accommodation, recovery, and transport entitlements when you're over 100 km from home.
Caravan and trailer
If your eligible vehicle requires towing while it is towing an eligible caravan or trailer, RACQ will tow the caravan or trailer under the same conditions as the eligible vehicle. Size and weight limits apply.
Battery replacement
If your vehicle needs a replacement battery, we can supply and install an RACQ battery for you at your own cost.
Emergency locksmith
If your keys are lost, damaged or stolen, RACQ can arrange for a locksmith. Plus Care, Ultra Care or RACQ Ultimate provide an annual entitlement towards the cost of the locksmith.
Electric vehicle roadside assistance
We'll provide you with a charge top-up to enable the vehicle to be driven to the nearest accessible charging station if in range (where available) or towing to an accessible charging station or your destination in line with your RACQ Roadside Assistance entitlements.
