To assist us in achieving this goal we’ve aligned with key organisations in the aim to broaden our reach and offer more to RACQ members. We’ve joined associations that are committed to shared causes. From motoring advocacy, road safety, sustainability and member-owned business cooperatives; we’re active in aligning with organisations that can purposefully benefit our members. By holding memberships with these organisations we’re able to work alongside others and make a positive change that will affect our community and members alike.
Australian Automobile Association
The Australian Automobile Association (AAA) is the peak organisation for Australia’s motoring clubs and their 8 million members. The association’s constituent clubs are the NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, RACT and the AANT. The AAA regularly commissions research and develops in-depth analysis of issues affecting transport systems including affordability, road safety and vehicle emissions.Find out more
Federation Internationale De L'Automobile
The FIA is a global organisation that not only promotes motor sport, but also safe, sustainable and accessible mobility for all road users across the world. As such, the federation works across three key interlinked areas of activity – sport, campaigns and mobility. In the realm of mobility, the FIA aims to ensure that safe, affordable and clean systems of transport are available to all. The promotion of safe and sustainable forms of mobility has, in turn, led the FIA to commit to global sustainability initiatives and also to found its own major response to road safety concerns, FIA Action for Road Safety.Find out more
Global Mobility Alliance
The Global Mobility Alliance (GMA) began in 2008 with a three-way partnership between the AAA Australia, ARC Europe and AAA/CAA. GMA now comprises of 66 mobility organisations in 31 countries, representing more than 110 million members.
Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals
The Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) is Australia’s peak body representing the co-operative and mutual models of enterprise. BCCM was formed in 2013 and is the only organisation uniting the entire and diverse range of member-owned businesses. As a powerful and informed voice in the business community, the organisation brings together the sector of businesses owned by members or formed to benefit members.
