This is our unfiltered review of Herbivore’s Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser.
It goes without saying that I’m a huge fan of Herbivore’s beauty products. I love everything about the whimsical aesthetic and natural ingredients. In my mind, they were one of the first brands to really nail the trendy, chic natural beauty line. So when I heard Herbivore was launching its Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser, I knew I had to try it myself.
When I first opened the box, I was happy to see this is probably the prettiest cleanser I’ve ever seen. Let’s be honest, normally face cleanser is not the beauty product people get most excited it. It can be totally boring. But Herbivore’s Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser looks like pink crystal quartz in a glass bottle. Maybe you’ve tried Herbivore Botanicals Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisture Crème, which also comes in a pretty pink formulation, but I’d argue that the cleanser is even more gorgeous.
The cleanser foams just a tiny bit and has a jelly, soft texture. What I really like about it is that it leaves skin soft, without any tight feeling at all. Sometimes I like that tight feeling after a cleanser, but I feel like this is the perfect cleanser to use after a strong mask, when you want a calming effect. It has just the slightest rose scent.
Another thing I love about Herbivore’s Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser? There’s no synthetic ingredients at all. The four key ingredients are Tremella Mushroom (plumps skin as it holds 500x its weight in water), Rose Water & Coconut Water (nourishes and hydrates), Vegan, Olive-derived Squalane (oil that works to remove makeup and restore moisture), White Tea Extract (antioxidant properties that protect and repair skin), Aloe vera (soothes and calms).
Overall, I think Herbivore’s Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser is one of the most unique cleansers out there right now. It actually makes your routine feel so much more luxurious and chic, simply because of the beautiful product itself. It’s also relatively affordable when it comes to skincare, at $24. Get it here.
