Berries are literally everywhere in fashion right now. From strawberries to cherries, these cheery fruits are popping up on bags, dresses, tops, shoes and more.
One of the most iconic berry moments in fashion of late would have to be Gucci. For spring 2020, Gucci released a slew of products including sneakers, tees, bags and more covered in cute, cartoon-like strawberries. The brand also has a current season top with a cherry Gucci logo.
Another brand that comes to mind is Susan Alexandra. Her cherry shaped earrings and bags covered in the same little dangly beaded cherries are peak cottagecore and bring a smile to one’s face almost instantly.
I recently became obsessed with wearing the berry trend because of the whimsical nature that it automatically brings to mind. Almost everyone loves berries (especially in the summertime) and wearing them feels uplifting and bright.
A few of my favorite pieces that I’ve worn recently: a Lirika Matoshi pink tulle dress covered in strawberries and a LoveShackFancy sweater covered in strawberries. I’ve also been lusting after a gorgeous, quilted Helmstedt strawberry dress. I’ve also been wearing different variations of cherry shaped earrings with a big scrunchie on hot days.
